Linda has played integral roles in education since 1973, with a focus on school leadership, effective instruction, student-centered learning climates, professional development, parent involvement, school management, and communication.

From her beginnings as a Special Education Teacher for the Chicago Public Schools to her stint as the Advancing Public Education Consultant with former Indiana Department of Education Superintendent Glenda Ritz, Linda has worked hard for the underserved to have a voice at the table to ensure quality education for all.

Her career highlights include:
  • Advancing from Special Education Teacher to Principal of Carver Primary School
  • Member of the State of Indiana Cambridge Quality Review Team
  • Indiana Liaison for Yale University’s School Development Program
  • Education Advisor for the City of East Chicago, under Mayor Copeland

She earned her B.S. in Mental Retardation from Boston University, and her Masters of Education in Learning Disabilities from Chicago State University.

When she's not earning accolades as Educator of the Year (by Phi Delta Kappa), she is loving wife to Indiana Senator Lonnie Randolph and mother to their 2 kids. She and Lonnie still reside in East Chicago, IN.
